Building the Sandhills SkyShed

Assembling the SkyShed only takes 4 hours, that part was true. Building a place to put it was the hard part.

First you have to dig a hole.
A big hole.
Fill it partially with concrete.
And Rebar.
Insert a Sonotube and fill it with concrete.
Build a deck frame around the pier (with help).
Put screen over the frame to keep critters out.
Cap the deck.
Assembly of the POD.
And finally you have an observatory!

But it’s not done yet.

Still gotta have power.
And ethernet.
